Intervention / presentation in “Ronda de Poetas” that I organised. (View the poster)

Guest: Miguel Rodríguez (Spain), Ricardo Messina (Argentine).

Invited by its organizer & curator Martín Barea Mattos, I participated at “Ronda de Poetas” during the cold night between April 30th and May 1st. (Workers day)
For this event, -from my studio, called “USTED”- I developed an instalation/intervention where text of my blog where shared (automatic reading by software and projection of those texts in the wall of the place). At same time, the writer Ricardo Messina (Argentine) read a selection of his poems and in other hand the spanish Miguel Rodríguez (from Basurama) made a hilarious lecture about the relation of the VW Transporter, the chorizo-selling cart and many buildings of Montevideo.
The event finished with the automatic reading of the song “The International” also played by midi audio, and we shake hands with all the public.

Acknowledges:
Miguel Rodríguez, Ricardo Messina and Basurama,

“The interest of this events, is not only in the idea of generating platforms of social interaction, or in allowing the reproduction of a social scene, but also the rehabilitation of spaces in desuetude and besides extremely important as symbols of Uruguayan culture.”
